Product Description

The2K sealing slurryis a waterproof, breathable material for sealing.

The concrete or cement basin must be completely sealed and no water may seep through. To eliminate damage, leaks and as optimal subsurface preparation for2K pool paintbecome2K sealing slurrye used.

On mineral substrates (e.g. formwork stones, concrete, cement) both products are always required to reliably seal the pool.

Preparation of the substrate:

Important!New plaster and concrete must be bound and matured!

  1. The substrate should be completely covered withspecial pre-cleanercleaned. Old plaster or paint layers are removed.
  2. Repair any gaps and unevenness with mortar. The basis for the sealing slurry should ultimately be a closed surface.
  3. Mineral substrate (concrete, cement and lime cement, concrete screeds) withdeep groundpretreat.

Mixing the sealing slurry:

Required material:

  • drill with stirring attachment
  • smoothing trowel

Mixing ratio:3 parts powder component: 1 part liquid component

First, stir the powder into the liquid and mix it with a stirring attachment for the drill until a lump-free, smooth mass is formed: the actual sealing slurry.

This is applied in at least two to three thin and even layers with a smoothing trowel.
